I am a talent. How do I submit my work to agents?

1. You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in.

2. Then, on the bottom menu, click on +Show off and the post show off form will open.

3. Simply enter your show off title, description and tags (search terms). In the “Submit to” field, choose Full submission and upload the videos / audios you wish agents to review and one or multiple images that will be displayed in the slider.

4. You can also add information such as credits (i.e. thanks to others who helped you with this project), Press (related articles, PRs, and blogs) and lyrics.

5. When you are finished click Post and allow the website to update the feed. Your Show off will be displayed on the feed instantly, and agents will receive personal notifications with it.

 

I am an agent. How do I post opportunity and allow talents to apply

1. You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in.

2. Then, on the bottom menu, click on +Opportunity and the post opportunity form will open.

3. Simply enter your show off title, description and tags (search terms). Click on Criteria to add any specific requirements to the posting. Entering criteria will narrow down your search and will affect the matching score of each talent to your opportunity.

4. Adding expiration date will indicate to talents when is the last day to apply. Then upload the videos / audios you wish talents to review and one or multiple images that will be displayed in the slider.

Who can sign up?

You can sign up if you are one of the following:

-          Talent: actor, artist, dancer, model, musician, reality TV performer, etc…

 

-          Agent – casting company, producer, director, manager, wedding / event planner or any person who is looking for talent

 

-          Fan of acting, art, dancing, modeling, music, reality TV, etc…

 

Is Sign Up free?

Yes, sign up is completely free.
Some features such as Agent Call, Opp Invite, Notifications and more requires paid membership.

Can I sign in with FB?

Yes, after you open the Sign In page, you will be asked to select your Sign In method. Facebook login is one of the methods we offer.

Yes, after you open the Sign In page, you will be asked to select your Sign In method. Twitter login is one of the methods we offer.

 

 

THE FEED

  

What is The Feed?

The feed is the place where agents browse show offs and talents, and talents browse opportunities. You do not need to sign in to view and search the feed or watch show offs and opportunities.

 

Is The Feed free?

The feed is free. However, some of the features are activated after talent pay for membership. Such features include: Agent Call button, Opp Invite button, Get it! (applying to opportunities) and notifications.

 

What can I see on The Feed?

The feed includes these items:

-          Show offs

-          What’s new (status updates)

-          Opportunities

 

Can I contact members from the feed?

Yes, you can contact talents that posted Show Offs and What’s new messages. There are 2 ways to do that:

1.       Click on Agent call button, if you are an agent

2.       Click on Send Msg link (below the member picture that show up when you go with your mouse over the message)

The talent will receive personal notification with your message and then can reply to it when ready.

  

Can I share The Feed?

1.       Yes, you can either send the feed URL (http://StarBooster.co) to your friends, post it to your social network account or simply email it, or you can share individual message by clicking ‘Share’ (below the member picture that show up when you go with your mouse over the message)

  

Can I report inappropriate content?

Yes. When you see inappropriate message or any copyright violation, you can report the individual message by clicking ‘Report (below the member picture that show up when you go with your mouse over the message) and send us a message with the nature of the problem. Our team will review it and take the necessary actions.

  

Can I report Copyright and licensing violations?

Yes. When you see copyright and licensing violation message, you can report the individual message by clicking ‘Report (below the member picture that show up when you go with your mouse over the message) and send us a message with the nature of the problem. Our team will review it and take the necessary actions.

  

SHOW OFF

  

What is a Show Off?

Show off is a way for talents to submit their talents to agents. This includes clips, songs, videos, images, modeling pictures, acting videos, resumes, previous projects and experience and much more. Show Off can be posted to the feed and be viewed by agents and it can also be submitted as personal notifications to agents and then agents get special alert with the Show Off.

 

Is Show Off free?

Yes, Posting Show Off is free. Submitting personal notification to agents with the Show Off is a paid feature.

 

How do I view Show Off?

To view Show Offs, simply goto our home page and browse the messages. When you see a Show Off you like, click on its title, and the Show Off will open in special window. In that window you can play the video, view the images in the slider, add comments and click on the buttons at the bottom to see additional information related to this message. You can scroll right to upload additional postings. If you wish to browse Show Offs without other message types, simply click on Show Off on the left menu.

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the left menu, click on ‘Update Profile’. You will be directed to your account and profile page. To the right of your large profile picture, you will see all of your postings. Click on the x (remove) icon over the show off you wish to update and the remove Show Off Form, will open. Click ‘Yes’ to delete the posting and ‘No’ to go back to the void the operation.

  

AGENT CALL BUTTON

  

What is Agent Call button?

Agent call button allows agents to contact talents directly and instantly from the feed. After talent post Show Off or What’s new message to the feed, it will be displayed with Agent Call button on the message. Agent can then click on the button, and send a message to the talent. The message can include a specific appointment with time, number to call and other related information. Agent call message will be sent instantly to the talent notification center, where it can be viewed, replied to or saved for future reference.

 

How do I activate my Agent Call button?

If you are a talent, you will have to go to our homepage at http://StarBooster.co and sign in. Then on the bottom menu, click on ‘Upgrade’ on the left side and the membership sign up window will open. Click on the type of membership you wish to purchase and you will be automatically directed to the payment page where you can use your paypal account, all major credit and debit cards and other payment methods. As soon as payment is made, your account will be updated and all paid features, including Agent Call button, will be activated. Then any agent visiting the feed, will be able to click on your postings, press Agent Call and contact you instantly and directly.

 

OPP INVITE BUTTON

 

What is Opp Invite button?

Opp Invite button allows agents / Talents / Other members and fans to contact talents directly and instantly from the feed and send them opportunities (auditions, gigs, modeling jobs, singing and acting parts, etc…) which they think match the talent. After talent post Show Off or What’s new message to the feed, it will be displayed Opp Invite button on the message. Agent can then click on the button, and send a message to the talent. The message can include a specific opportunities with invitation to  apply. Opp Invite message will be sent instantly to the talent notification center, where it can be viewed, replied to or saved for future reference.

 

How do I activate my Opp Invite button?

If you are a talent, you will have to go to our homepage at http://StarBooster.co and sign in. Then on the bottom menu, click on ‘Upgrade’ on the left side and the membership sign up window will open. Yes, posting What’s new message to the feed, is 100% free. You can submit your message to agents using our full submission feature, which is a paid feature.

 

How do I view What’s New?

To view What’s new, simply goto our home page and browse the messages. When you see a message you like, click on its title, and the Show Off will open in special window. In that window you can play the video, view the image and add comments. You can scroll right to upload additional postings. If you wish to browse What’s New messages without other message types, simply click on What’s New on the left menu.

What is an Opportunity?

Opportunity is any call for talents. It can be an audition for part in a movie or a TV show, music band looking for a singer, modeling agency searching for models, Producer looking for dancers, and more. Opportunity can be posted by agents, casting companies, talent managers, record labels, directors, producers, wedding and event planners and any other party that is looking for talents.
 

Is posting opportunity free?

Yes, posting an opportunity to the feed, is 100%. Applying to opportunity is a paid feature.

 

How do I view Opportunity?

To view an opportunity, simply goto our home page and browse the messages. When you see a message you like, click on its title, and the opportunity will open in special window. In that window you can play the video, view the image and read the opportunity description. Click on Watch Criteria to see matching between your profile and the opportunity requirements. You can scroll right to upload additional postings. If you wish to browse opportunities without other message types, simply click on Opportunities on the left menu.

 

How do I apply to Opportunity?

To apply for an opportunity, simply click on the ‘Get it’ button after entering text in the ‘Why Me’ field.

 

How do I post Opportunity?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then, on the bottom menu, click on +Opportunity and the post Opportunity form will open. Simply enter your Opportunity title, and tags (search terms). Click on Criteria to enter any specific requirements for this opportunity and enter the expiration date (last date talents can apply), then Upload the videos / audios you wish talents to review and images that will be displayed in the message. Your opportunity will be displayed on the feed instantly, and talents will receive personal notifications with it.

 

How do I edit my Opportunities?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the left menu, click on ‘Update Profile’. You will be directed to your account and profile page. Opportunity management offers agents powerful tools to post opportunities and then receive qualified submissions from talents, sort them by applicable criteria and % of matching between talent profile and opportunity requirements. Agent can save submission, remove and search. Opportunity management also offer agents to award the opportunity to the winning talent and contact the talent instantly and directly.

 

How do I review applications / submissions?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the left menu, click on ‘Update Profile’. You will be directed to your account and profile page. To the right of your large profile picture, you will see all of your postings. Click on the Manage button over the Opportunity you wish to manage and the Opp Management window, will open. In the window, you can see all the submissions for this specific opportunity with % of matching for each submission. Go over the % of matching to see a breakdown of each criteria. On the right side you can click on Like, Remove or Award. You can also, click on Agent call or Opp Invite buttons to contact each talent.

  

How do I save / remove applications?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the left menu, click on ‘Update Profile’. You will be directed to your account and profile page. To the right of your large profile picture, you will see all of your postings. Click on the Manage button over the Opportunity you wish to manage and the Opp Management window, will open. In the window, you can see all the submissions for this specific opportunity with % of matching for each On the right side you can click on Like, Remove or Award. How do I award opportunity to talents?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the left menu, click on ‘Update Profile’. You will be directed to your account and profile page. To the right of your large profile picture, you will see all of your postings. Click on the Manage button over the Opportunity you wish to manage and the Opp Management window, will open. In the window, you can see all the submissions for this specific opportunity with % of matching for each On the right side you can click on Award. This will change the opportunity status to Awarded and send instant message to the winning talent.

What is the Notification feature?

Notification center is the place where any member can view all of the messages, alerts and comments sent by other members.

 

Is Notification free?

How do I delete notification?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the bottom menu, click on the notification icon and the notification center will open. Scroll down to the message you want to delete and on the right side click on the delete icon. The delete message window will open and you will be required to confirm the delete action.

  

How do I reply to notification?

You should go to our homepage at http://starbooster.co and sign in. Then on the bottom menu, click on the notification icon and the notification center will open. Scroll down to the message you want to delete and on the right side click on the reply icon. The reply message window will open and you will be required to enter the message you wish to send as reply. You can’t reply to opportunities.

How can I see member profile?

To view any member (talent, agent or fan) profile, goto the feed and go with your mouse on any message you like. When you do that, the message title will move up, and below it, you will see the member who posted the message information, including picture. Click on the picture and you will be directed to that member’s profile page where you can see all of the member’s previous postings, profile and more.

How do I logout?

On the bottom menu, click on the rooster icon. In the menu that opens up, click on Logout. This will disconnect you from the site and log you out from your account.
